Do some people know when they are actually going to die. Like a premonition, even if they have good health?

I'm not sure if my father knew when he was going to pass away, but he did act different a week prior to his death. Weird things like how he fixed the broken walkway that he had put off for 2 years... He fixed a broken pipe at my moms cafe that she had been asking him about for a quite a long time... He came clean to my mom about some things that he had done wrong in his past... and 2 days before he died, he randomly bought my sisters an alarm clock (he used to always wake them up for school before he went to work). He died from a motorcycle accident and it was definitely unexpected.
